He wanted to pick us own theme for the Bar mitzvah.

I was really not comfortable with him choosing his own Bar mitzvah theme. His Bar Mitzvah would be one of the most important days of his lives and the theme is one of the most important decisions. He had a great argument that his Bar mitzvah would be the turning point to become a man and he should be trusting in choosing the theme. We finally came to an agreement that he could choose the Bar mitzvah theme but I would be the party favor and all of the other details. He did not even want a Bar mitzvah party favor but I told him this was not up for discussion. So we will see how it turns out with his choice of the Bar mitzvah theme and my choice for the party favor and the rest of the details.
