Friends of the Israel Defense Forces

Bar and bat mitzvah-aged children can show their commitment to the soldiers in the Israel Defense Force by pledging gifts to an Friends of the Israel Defense Forces program. From dollar gifts to letter writing, there are a number of ways teens can help change the lives of soldiers in Israel. The organization has two ways one can dedicate their b’nai mitzvah project — through the LEGACY Program or IMPACT! Program. To learn more about how you can help a child or sibling of a fallen IDF soldier attend summer camp or support an economically disadvantaged former combat soldier through four years of college as part of your b’nai mitzvah project, please contact our office.

In addition to this special project, the non-profit provides programming that supports social, educational, cultural, and recreational needs to the young men and women soldiers of Israel who defend the Jewish homeland. It also offers these services to the families of fallen soldiers.
