A bar mitzvah worth sharing

The Bar & Bat Mitzvah Guide wants you!

for The Brooklyn Paper

Planning a bar or bat mitzvah can be as tricky as being witty about a committee of kitties writing a ditty about an itchy piggy in Ho Chi Minh City…or reciting that last sentence three times quickly.

Kids have to spend a lot of time preparing for this once in a lifetime event, while their parents have to plan a party worthy of their child’s accomplishment.

Becoming religiously mature is a big deal, so why not share the spoils of your effort in an attempt to help inspire others who are about to embark on this rewarding — yet sometimes overwhelming — coming-of-age journey? Think of it as a mitzvah!

If this interests you, and you live in the New York metropolitan area, the Bar & Bat Mitzvah Guide is looking for families who would like their parties to be featured on our site.
