June is much like it’s birthstone — it’s a pearl of a month! It’s a warm, fragrant with the smell of blooming roses, and filled with the site and corresponding swatting of creepy-crawly June beetles. Not to mention it offers a timely occasion to sip on a June bug cocktail while listening June Carter. And now that we’ve covered all the ways the first month of summer employs the senses, let’s engross the mind … with TRIVIA!!! Jewish trivia to be exact, which in our opinions is the BEST kind of trivia because it allows us to learn about notable Hebrews and Jews just love to learn — don’t believe us? Take it up with Einstein!

Anyway, here is this month’s Jewish celebrity birthday quiz, enjoy, utilize the ole noggin’, and once you’re done, unwind with a viewing of “Junebug.” It doesn’t star any actual Jews but it’s quite delightful, just like this quiz!:

1) Which Jewish comedienne has famously said: “I’ve had so much plastic surgery, when I die they will donate my body to Tupperware?”

2) Which Jewish actress won an Oscar for a movie we are referring to in the image to the right of a bird?

3) Which hip, Williamsburg-born singers started his musical career as a jingle-writer, composing and penning State Farm Insurance’s “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there” and Band-Aid’s “I am stuck on Band-Aid, ‘cause Band-Aid’s stuck on me?”

4) Which actress with the Hebrew name “Batsheva” was nominated for a Grammy for her narration of the definitive version of the Holocaust-related document: “The Diary of Anne Frank?”

5) Which Jewish comedic legend said: “As long as the world is turning and spinning, we’re gonna be dizzy and we’re gonna make mistakes?”
