Smartphone apps make our lives easier — there really is an app for almost everything. Did you know that there are even apps out there designed to help with the planning of your child’s bar mitzvah?

Instead of scribbling a budget down on paper, why not use an app like the Mitzvah Prioritizer? We spoke with Jesse Wroblewski, the chief technology officer for Party Source, the marketing company that created the app, to find out how the Mitzvah Prioritizer can help you plan the perfect bat mitzvah.

Wroblewski says that the app helps parents create a preliminary budget that covers all aspects of the event.

“After which they can more actively engage providers such as entertainers, caterers, and so on, in a more logical and efficient manner depending on what parts of their party are most important to them,” Wroblewski adds.

The tech guru further explains that Mitzvah Prioritizer uses a special calculation algorithm that aids parents in creating a personalized budget based on what aspects of the event matter most to them and how much they want to spend. Once you’ve prioritized items and calculated your budget, you can send the final budget directly to your email.

The app is free and Wroblewski says that while Party Source has created other apps such as the Party Prioritizer and Wedding Prioritizer apps, this app is specifically catered towards bar mitzvahs.

“Users will not be confused or cluttered down with unneeded options or event aspects. If it involves planning a bar or bat mitzvah, it’s in there.”

Download the Mitzvah Prioritizer app from iTunes or visit mitzvahprioritizer.com for more information.

Wroblewski also encourages users to contact the company with ideas for event planning apps.
